Miyajima Brewery

The beers were really nice, try to get the set to try different type of beers!Also absolutely try the oysters there! They were so fresh and tasty!And the shop, based on the season will recommend which oyster to buy and how to be served (fresh, boiled, grilled, etc.) If you stay on the back of the shop, you have a small window toward the floating shrine which can give you nice pictures! Nice place with good food, NOT a tourist trap!

Pretty good beers. The food wasn't great but the beer sampler was refreshing on a hot day. Not sure why they only give you 3 in the sample when they have 4 different beers. The Oyster Porter is unique and worth a try.

You cannot miss the place if you visit Miyajima! The food, the service, the views are excellent. Highly recommend the carbonara and a flight of beers.

Nice place, beers and the food are both great. Amazing view of Miyajima from the tables. The staff is super friendly and nice. The chef prepares the plates in great details.

Best place for beer and light dinner. Customer service is always top notch and the food is always wonderful. The grilled anago (fresh water eel) is definitely my favorite dish and the blood orange beer is my favorite post-dinner dessert drink.

Good selection of their own craft beers on tap, the third floor restaurant also doubles as a tasting bar (they offer a triple taster paddle for 1200Â¥) with a fantastic view. The downstairs bar on level 1 only has a small selection of their beers and is only served in plastic cups.

Excellent food, environnent and view. I really recommend the deep fried oysters, they are amazing!

We just got a beer at the beer stand, so I can’t speak about the food. The beer was great, though! I’m always picky about my IPAs but I really enjoyed the one I ordered here. My husband got the red ale and said it was super crisp and refreshing. We wish we had more time to stay and try more of the beers. FYI: the beer stand doesn’t take credit cards.

Beer was delicious. Grilled Salmon & Grilled Oysters, both fantastic. Unfortunately the lighting in this place is intensely bright. Downlights above every table really kill the vibe.Gluten-free friendly menu 👌

Nice spot with good food. Oyster pasta and eel was great.

We got to the restaurant for dinner (5pm) and were able to pick our spot along the window to watch the sunset. We worked our way along the beer menu and have nothing bad to say about any of the beers! They all had great flavour and were refreshing. My husband had two oyster dishes which he says were great and I had the grilled salmon and fries which were fantastic! Would definitely recommend this place!

Very good beer. Oysters are hit or miss. Great service. Tourist prices for food. Kids' meal was cool.

Perfect place for a fresh local craft beer and karage after a heavy day of sightseeing and hike down from the mountain.

Good beers and meals, very nice view on the sea ! Maybe a bit expensive for a backpack traveler but the place, food and staff makes it worth it !

This is a fancy brewery with great foods and beers! Just located on the 3rd floor of the building Starbucks is on the ground! The building is very stylish and the restaurant itself is very comfy! From the tables you can see great view with the sea! You can drink Miyajima local beer! Of course you can try a couple of cups! Besides there are great menus! They have great oyster menus! That’s so nice! I love this great atmosphere! I guess this is one of the great restaurants in this island!

I recommend Miyajima brewery for authentic beers and fresh oysters. I enjoyed Weizen..

Great food and great service! Second time here and I ordered the oyster fritters both times. SO good!!! This time I also ordered the grilled salmon with garlic butter. It was delicious!!

Great food with an excellent food. Good beers on tap and friendly service. Menu is mostly oysters but they do have some limited other options. Recommended.

Super delicious beer and lovely staff. The food was delicious, but the portions were quite small for the price. We had to go get more food after eating the set course lunch. Awesome views & great beer selection. Would recommend!

Unique island microbrewery with light snacks and fantastic view of the famous Miyajima O-torii gate.

Good selection of craft type beer. Some of the fruit beers are a little strong flavored but the amber ale is always good! Great view from the upstairs backside to people watch on the street below. They have beer to go in plastic bottles so you can wander with your favorite brew! Always a good stop on a hot day while in Miyajima!

Exceptional view over the sea, sunset while we were eating. Small modern place. Good food at reasonable prices. The 3 beer starter pack was nice. Tried to come back the next day, but they were closed. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the flight of three beers (red ale is the best in my opinion) after a hot day of hiking Mt Misen. Definitely recommend!

Tasty food, great beer and lovely views! Highly recommend this little gem on Miyajima island!

Tried a sampling of their beers and they were all quite good. We also tried a platter of fritters which was enjoyable, but felt overpriced. The platter contain shrimp, conger, vegetable, and oyster fritters.The view from the brewery is also beautiful on clear days as it looks across towards Hiroshima. You can watch the ferries cross or even stare at the art museum across the way.Would visit again for the beer.

Solid 5/5, the food lives up to the fancy restaurant setting (and bathroom!) and is great value. Some nice beers in there too!

Highly recommend this place. Had the 3-beer starter and they are all great. Cosy place for watching sunset.

They have a beer stand downstairs, but they also have a restaurant on the 3rd floor with some lovely views over Hiroshima Bay.They do some lovely food and have a good craft beer selection. I personally recommend the lemon beer!

Really good place to have lunch and drink beer. It has a great view and you can even see the Miyajima Tori from there. The pastas, oysters and mussels were delicious!

Miyajima brewery is a casual yet elegant restaurant with a great view of the water and a wonderful beer selection. I would definitely recommend stopping by during a trip to Miyajima.

We only went to grab some beers, not to have dinner. I was gladly surprised when I saw they had craft beer. We had an offer of 3 different types, all very tasty. The staff is friendly. Like most places in Miyajima, it's a bit overpriced.

Great find stumbled past it but I am glad we went and they have a very good selection of beers a very interesting food menu an all very reasonably priced. Really nice button fresh plane ambience and the great views over the sea or extremely accommodating would love to go back

Nice place to have a beer. We had a tester of 3 types of beer. Tasted good.... excellent view over the water... not much to choose from on the menu. Oysters and much more oysters... a lot deep fried. Ah well... it is worth a visit, just for the beer. 3 x 200 ml beer as a tester for 1200 yen... excluding taxes of course...

Enjoyed my small cup of red ale with deliciously fried plump oysters. Friendly staff. You can enjoy your food on the 2nd floor. Clean toilet on the 2F as well.

Nice little local brewery in Miyajima. The beer bar is in the 1st floor and sells draft beer in a bottle which is great! The 3rd floor is where the restaurant is and it has an unreal view. The beer is great. They have abouy 8 beers on tap. We tried 3 beers - honey grolsch, yuzu and IPA. We liked the grolsch and IPA best. The yuzu was interesting but not our favorite. We also had the curry potatoes which = curry fries. Would recommend as a nice stop on the island for a meal or snack!

Beautiful setting with sea scape views! Gluten-free and vegetarian dishes clearly marked. Reccomend the maple beer and fries! :)

Delicious dining and drinking experience! The beer brewed are surprisingly good for Asian beer, and the Flight of Three was really, really good! Mild beer but tasty. And don't be scared of the oister Stout! It is very mild, and tastes very little like oister.The food is also very tasty. I am not a big fan of oisters in general, but the grilled oisters were delicious. I also recommend the salmon and fish & chips.Finally, the view is extremely nice of ships entering/leaving Miyajima.

This is such a swanky, sleek place to get a bite to eat and have some delicious beer. I had the fish and chips, which were honestly my favorite I've ever had. I tried four different small beers from here and loved each. There's nothing here food-wise that I didn't like. The view is incredible and provided much conversation while eating.

Definitely pricey (2800 for salmon, salad, rice and beer), but great view and appealing food

Omelette with conger with cheese Japanese style and Hiroshima chicken steak with mushroom cream sauce, which was really tasty.. and I loved it..I had ordered these beers..Momiji aleWeizenShamouti orange.It was combine pack of 3 for 1000 yen for 185mlFood cost me around 2100 yen..

This place has a nice view, offers good western style food, some of it with a Japanese twist. The beers were good as well and they offer a nice trio of different beers so you get to taste different ones. The oysters were nice, we tried them grilled. The white wine was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Great food and even better beer! We had the momiji beer and the Weizen, absolutely delicious! The ginger pork was so so good! It’s a little small so going right when they open is advised because it does get full fast. The staff is really nice as well. It’s in a great location because you get a nice view. Would love to go back when we go back to Miyajima!

As we are from a city that brags about our craft brewing, we were impressed that the beers here were so good. You can't beat the view and the service was great, but the prices are a bit high. We ended up just having drinks and shared some fried snacks and went somewhere else for dinner. If you're looking to try some new beers and relax with a view, you should definitely stop in.

The beers are amazing. So many subtle flavours. Recommend the 3 beer tasting paddle.

Good food and reasonably priced.... Booked the same day for a table that evening but it wasn’t too busy. Lovely views out over the water and a good selection of craft beers.Very good service and accommodating of young children. Had two baby chairs and a baby change facility downstairs (part of Starbucks)
